Chris edits Transparentem’s reports and manages the drafting, review, and production process.
Prior to joining Transparentem, Chris was an editor at Freedom House, where he provided research, fact-checking, analysis, and substantive and copyediting for the organization’s annual publications, Freedom in the World and Freedom on the Net. Chris previously worked as a project manager at American University’s School of International Service, conducting research as well as editing case studies and policy briefs for inclusion in an edited volume on emerging powers and peacebuilding. Chris has also served as a long-term election observer in Liberia and managed programs for democracy and human rights NGOs.
Chris earned an M.A. from the Johns Hopkins University School of Advanced International Studies and a B.A from Fordham University.
