Claudia manages labor and environmental projects, including investigations and engagement with companies, NGOs, and others to improve conditions for workers in global supply chains.
Prior to joining Transparentem, Claudia worked for almost ten years managing supply chain operations and product development for fashion companies. More recently, she worked in consultancies for the Brazilian Association of Textile Retail (ABVTEX) and the Fourth Sector Group to promote better environmental and human rights outcomes in and through supply chains. She also held an administrative position at Columbia World Projects, an initiative that mobilizes university researchers to collaborate with governments, nonprofits, businesses, and communities to tackle the most urgent global challenges. Claudia was also a Research Fellow at the Columbia Center for Sustainable Investment and co-authored a handbook to support food processing companies in achieving alignment with the UN’s Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
Claudia earned an MPA. in Development Practice from the School of International and Public Affairs at Columbia University, and a BA in Anthropology from Hunter College.
