Emma Sampson

Emma manages Transparentem’s operations, finance, and human resources functions, and supports the implementation of its strategic plan.

Before joining Transparentem, Emma led projects and built relationships with social and healthcare partners across the United States as an Implementation Manager with Unite Us. Previously, she supported daily operations, Board management, grant writing, and high-level partner relations in various roles within the global Family Planning Secretariat at the United Nations Foundation. In 2020, Emma co-founded a mutual aid organization, Happy Hour Fund, and raised and redistributed over $65,000 to excluded workers in Los Angeles and Washington DC who lost their jobs due to the COVID-19 pandemic.

Emma graduated from George Washington University with a B.A. in International Affairs and minors in Women’s, Gender & Sexuality Studies and Spanish & Latin American Language & Literature.
