Emma Sampson

Emma supports Transparantem’s communications, finance, fundraising & grants, human resources, and operations, and assists leadership in the development and execution of strategic planning.

Prior to joining Transparentem, Emma managed projects, led contract rollout, and helped build relationships with social and healthcare partners across the United States as an Implementation Manager with Unite Us. Previously, she supported day-to-day activities, strategic planning, Board and Executive management, grant writing, and high-level partner relations in her various roles within the global Family Planning 2030 Secretariat at the United Nations Foundation. In 2020, Emma co-founded a mutual aid organization, Happy Hour Fund, to raise and redistribute funds to workers in Los Angeles and Washington DC excluded from receiving socioeconomic support amidst COVID-19.

Emma graduated magna cum laude from George Washington University with a B.A. in International Affairs and minors in Women’s, Gender & Sexuality Studies and Spanish & Latin American Language & Literature.
