Ryan Hamilton is a climate and sustainability leader with over 20 years of experience in global non-profits, decarbonization consulting, corporate strategy, and professional politics.
He is currently a Senior Partner in the Climate Change and Corporate Sustainability practice at ERM – the world’s leading pure-play sustainability consulting firm. Before that, he was the Chief of Staff at the Environmental Defense Fund where he worked with the President to execute EDF’s strategy to confront climate change. Ryan was integral to EDF’s strategic realignment to be the leading global NGO delivering game-changing solutions that cut climate pollution.
Previously, Ryan worked in professional politics in Australia where he served as Communications Director for a national election campaign and as Chief of Staff in the Government in the policy areas of technology, communications, and national security.
He is a published commentator in the areas of sustainability and climate change, business strategy and executive leadership. Ryan is professionally devoted to accelerating the decarbonization of business and industry, He lives in Brooklyn with his wife and 2-year-old son.
